Article Abstract
Diffuse subcortical MRI signal abnormalities were seen during a subacute exacerbation in a patient with Hasimoto's encephalopathy.The patient had an excellent clinical response to corticosteroids.Clinical recovery paralleled normalization of MRI abnormalities and lowering of thyroid microsomal antibody titer.
